Whats a reading tutor you ask?

It is someone that gives up 1hr a week at school to teach a student in the years prep, 1 and 2’s. We help them improve on their reading a listening skills so then in the future they will be a able to teach their kids and be able to read and listen to other people.

Talk to you soon, Kayleigh

Why Blog?

Sue tells us ā€“ The question is ā€˜scaffold vs struggleā€™. Ā Can you be too helpful when introducing blogging to students?

Ā

Jan Smithā€˜s advice is:

Wind turbines!!

This is a fascinating wind turbine that I recently saw at foster. They are 64 meters tall and the wings (propellers) are 63 meters high. These wind turbines generate that air to predict the wind current. There are solar turbines and wind turbines. Post a comment about how you predict the weather there. Look deeply into the photo look at the sky, look at the tree. There are many ways you can predict the weather other than wind and solar turbines.
